Learn how to test Chrome extensions in Momentic
This feature is in Beta. Due to limitations within Google Chrome, loading Chrome extensions forces Momentic to use an experimental browser build that may be slower and behave differently compared to regular browsers.
Chrome extensions can only be tested when running Momentic locally. Please ensure you have installed the CLI before proceeding.
To load a Chrome extension onto the Momentic browser, the “unpacked” Chrome extension source code must be available on the local machine. This should be a directory containing a manifest.json
file.
You can configure which extensions to load from your Momentic environment settings, or from each test’s browser options:
