Browsers
Detailed information about Momentic’s browsers and browser options.
Momentic offers two different browser options to support your testing needs: Google Chrome and Chromium. Both browsers run in a headless mode (without a visible UI) but each has different capabilities and performance characteristics.
Chromium
Chromium is the default browser option for Momentic. It is a fast and lightweight browser optimized for testing needs. However, it does not support all features of Google Chrome, and may behave differently since it is an entirely different browser implementation.
Google Chrome
Google Chrome is a full-fledged browser that offers the broadest feature support, including H.264 video playback, media streaming, WebGL, and more. It may consume more resources than Chromium.
Browser behavior
To ensure consistent test results, Momentic overrides certain browser behaviors.
